WHAT DOES INSIDE / OUTSIDE MOUNT MEAN?
Inside Mount (IM) literally means the blind or shade mounts inside the window sill. Some IM blinds and shades can be flush mounted (completely flush with the wall) or semi-flush mounted (protruding slightly from the wall surface). Outside Mount (OM) means the blind or shade will be mounted on the wall, above the window opening. OM blinds are the perfect solution for windows with limited depth or window cranks or controls which would interfere with an Inside Mount application.
HOW DO I MEASURE MY WINDOWS?
Please refer to our measuring guide for instructions to take professional measurements of your windows.
DO YOU PROVIDE INSTALL SCREWS / FASTENERS?
Yes. However, there are many different types of mounting surfaces into which your products could be attached, such as concrete, wood, drywall, plaster, steel, etc. It’s not feasible for manufacturers to include screws/fasteners that will work for all applications, but the ones included should work fine for most applications.
